Few weeks ago, we found a tiny little hummingbird flying all over our kitchen. He didn't know how to get out and kept buzzing around and hitting the ceiling. The feathers on his head were all fluffed up. It took us a while to figure out how to get him outside. He was getting tired and he finally landed on a golf club and we were able to take him out. I felt so bad because I left the door open. He was so scared and stressed out. So I went out and I bought couple of hummingbird feeders so that he has a good reason to come back. And he did. And it looks like his friends heard the news too...I think there are 2-3 hummingbirds that come for a visit every day. They spend most of the day around the house, waiting in the trees, fighting over the feeders. They are so precious. I can watch them all day. One of them has a messed up hair do, I am pretty sure that is the same guy that came for a visit few weeks ago. They are still skittish but getting better with each day. They are very hard to photograph and I'm hoping that with time they will trust me to come little bit closer...
