My Nephew ~kids~

Last month my husband and I went to Serbia to visit my family. We walked the streets of Novi Sad (my hometown), we visited old towns, a castle, a fortress, walked on the beach, met up with some of my old school friends. We tasted some amazing food and enjoyed the best ice cream ever. The weather was beautiful, sunny and around 30 degrees every day. The highlight of the trip was meeting my 3 year old nephew Relja for the first time. Relja LOVES cars, he plays with them, he carries them everywhere, and he sleeps with them. You can not catch him without a car in his hands. He was not sure how I fit in the family, who is who's mother, daughter, sister, cousin....but I think he figured it out when he said "I have a 'real' auntie!". He loved playing with Phil and even though they don't speak the same language, they had no trouble communicating. Relja learned quite a few English words (and even invented his own "English") and Phil learned few Serbian words. We had a great trip. It was so nice to visit my family and see my hometown again.
